Request Free DiagnosisWater damage manifests in many ways. Do you recognize any of these complaints?
We inspect the motherboard visually and with a thermal camera to locate corrosion and damaged components. This is free.
The motherboard is cleaned in an ultrasonic bath to remove liquid and corrosion â a step crucial for a lasting repair.
With oscilloscope and multimeter we measure power rails, signals and voltages to pinpoint exactly which components are faulty.
Damaged chips, resistors or capacitors are replaced with micro-soldering equipment. We work at component level â full motherboard replacement is rarely needed.
After repair we test extensively. You receive a warranty on the work performed.
Apple and many other shops quickly advise a new motherboard or an entirely new device. This can cost thousands of euros. We believe in board-level repair: replacing only the faulty component. In most water damage cases it's corrosion on a small part of the motherboard. With the right equipment and knowledge this can be repaired for a fraction of the replacement cost.
Customer Alfons Uijtewaal: "Apple had already given up. But Rachid took the time to check all connections and re-solder where needed. It works like new again."
Turn off the MacBook immediately and do NOT charge it. Dry it gently with a towel and bring it to us as quickly as possible. The faster you act, the greater the chance of a successful repair.
